We're happy to announce our next service project for September 12th at the F.R.I.E.N.D.S. Florida Research Institute. We're going to be helping with ranch chores like cleaning the stalls and cleaning & refilling water buckets. We'll also get to interact with the animals, including grooming, braiding, and bathing.
Please be sure to dress appropriately and wear closed-toe shoes and clothes you don't mind getting dirty – this is a working farm and dirt/mud is to be expected.
Another fun night with Rotaractors, Rotarians and friends. Thank you to everyone that came out, and special thanks to the SpareZ team for hosting us. We hope everyone had a fun evening!
The world really needs more Rotaractors and now that we are chartered, we really need YOU!
This is a great opportunity for you to join an organization that has a positive impact on your community, as well as it gives you the opportunity to meet like-minded individuals. We invite you to be part of this great cause, and if you are interested (or know anyone that may be interested) in joining or in finding out more of what we do, please do not hesitate to get in contact with us! #Rotaractors #Rotaractions #RotaractofWestBroward
Great Saturday spent doing great work, bonding and learning!
Some of the team went to the RLI (Rotary Leadership Institute) in Fort Lauderdale. We are happy to announce we all finished the Level 1 of the courses! It was a great experience to learn more about the history of Rotary, the object of Rotary and how we as individuals can help our communities as a whole. Very inspiring day! It was also great meeting other Rotarians from clubs from all over the district, such as Rotary Club of Fort Lauderdale / Cypress Creek Rotary Club of Miami Rotary Club of Pompano Beach Pompano Beach-Lighthouse Rotary Club Rotary Club of Key Biscayne Rotary Club of Hollywood Rotary Club of Miramar-Pines Rotary Club of Fort Lauderdale Rotary Club of Weston The Rotary Club of Perrine-Cutler Ridge/Palmetto Bay (District 6990)

Our chapter has been officially recognized by Rotary International and we are very excited! Thanks so much to the Rotary Club of Weston for being our sponsor and your continuously supporting us. We can't wait to keep working together to inspire positive change in our community and the world.
We invite you to join us in this amazing journey.
Our weekly meeting this week was filled with firsts!
We welcomed our newest member to the team, Ivan Daich, who also came to our service project last weekend. We're very happy to have you and are impressed by your positive energy!
John Cross, the youth chair for the Rotary Club of Weston was our guest speaker, and talked to us about potential future relationships with the Interact Clubs in our area. He proposed ideas on how we can come together to work on projects and continue on this journey together.
We are enthusiastic about implementing the "Happy Dollars" tradition into our meetings! Happy dollars happen when "HAPPY" members donate a dollar and share with the rest of the club members why they are happy.
We also have a brand new banner and t shirts which we are proud to use at all our future events!!
Finally, our President presented his (very ambitious) goals for the year which we are sure will lead the club to success.
On Saturday, August 1st, we had the pleasure of serving our community with our 3rd service project!
We attended the Back to School Family Health Fair. This year the fair served over 1000 people from the Borward County area with free services: shots, free school physical exams, dental screenings, BMI, mental and behavioral support, vision and hearing screenings, and school supplies.
We helped with registration, security, and food & supply distribution.
We broke our attendance record of 25 members and volunteers! Thank you so much to everyone that attended!!! We're all so proud. Special thank you to our amazing group of volunteers!! We couldn't have done it without you.
Thank you to the Back to School Health fair committee for organizing this great event and allowing us to come help! We'll be back next year.
Look at all the other things we have accomplished!
